
### Sony Music Vision Unleashes ‘The Ballad of Judas Priest: Metal Gods Unchained’ – A Groundbreaking Rock Documentary
July 14, 2025 | New York, NY — Sony Music Vision has officially unveiled its latest music documentary project, The Ballad of Judas Priest: Metal Gods Unchained ,a powerful and unfiltered look at one of heavy metal’s most iconic bands. The film, produced in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK and Epic Records, promises to deliver the definitive story of Judas Priest’s five-decade reign over the world of metal.
Co-directed by celebrated music documentarian Sam Dunn(*Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey*) and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine (marking his directorial debut), the film will explore the band’s journey from the industrial streets of Birmingham to their place as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and global metal legends.
